This season I have been obsessing over a few lip colours that I have used almost every day. From pinks to peaches they were the best day lipsticks all September
The first on my list is Lakme Matte 9 to 5 ‘Orange Edge’. I was looking for a peach shade all August but couldn’t find the exact colour I wanted. This lipstick is not exactly what I wanted but a lot closer to the shade. It is a great hue for daytime and even for office but it doesn’t stay from 9 to 5. It lasts almost three hours.
Once I started using it, I wasn’t quite happy but after applying a few times I starting loving it. One thing with lipsticks is never to judge them in one swatch or application. A new lipstick takes time to settle. So this one by Lakme took its time but is worth using.

My second favourite is a pink shade by Faces. It is called ‘Flirty Pink’ and is a nice matte-finished pink hued lipstick. This one is not only good for day outs but also for evening parties. I’m a lipstick eater so generally they don’t last very long on my lips, this stayed for almost four hours.

Third on my list is ‘See Sheer’ by M.A.C. No lipstick lust -list is complete without M.A.C. This is a very flattering coral peach colour with warm undertones. It suits almost all skin tones and gives a nice shiny finish to the lips. Lasts for almost four hours!
