We all love street food! Be it Delhi’s Gol Gappe or Bombay’s Wada Pau or Tawa Pulao. It is spicy, full of vegetables and extremely delicious. Have you ever tasted Tawa Pulao at Juhu Beach? Ingredients:
2 tbsp Oil
1 Onion cut in squares or chopped
1 Bell Pepper – green, red and yellow cut in square or chopped
2 tbsp Pav bhaji Masala
1 boiled and chopped Potato(optional)
1 carrot chopped (optional)
½ tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp ginger paste
Salt
Lemon
1 Sabut lal mirch
1 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
1 Bay leaf
1 Bowl of boiled rice
Method:
Heat oil in a Kadai
Once oil is hot enough add lal mirch, bay leaf and cumin seeds
When the seeds start to crackle, add onions
Once onion turn pink add ginger paste
Now add pav bhajji masal, turmeric, salt and red chilli powder (optional)
Then add bell peppers, potatoes and carrot
After the vegetables are cooked well and mixed add boiled rice and stir
Squeeze lemon and remove from heat
Garnish with coriander and grated raw mango
Your dish is ready to serve
