Sexy is Namrata Joshipura’s middle name. And every time she showcases, that’s what you can see. Alia Bhatt shut it down for the designer wearing a one shoulder jumpsuit, walking the runway looking all poker faced, until she broke into a smile.
The show had its share of fringes, flares and a lot of drama that embodied the down town New York subway vibe quite well. Be it the pillars on set or the graffiti on the walls… a lot of things were on point. It reminded me of Monisha Jaising’s show at Lakme, which too was a feast to watch.
The show started with the trippiest LED light drama and made it worth the wait queue. A few garments had some really interesting drapes, and embroideries and were styled really well too.
