When Somya told me she wants to shoot five trends that have taken over this season and one of which was stripes, I couldn’t stop but scroll through websites to pick a striped dress. Just then, S told me that I have a lot of striped dresses and pants in my closet. I didn’t believe her at first, but oblivious to the fact, I started critically analyzing and fishing out garments from my wardrobe to prove her wrong. However, to my surprise I had a dozen.
Stripes are always a strong trend, they never really go out of style, ever. This season, the classic trend is back and they’re making a strong statement in your wardrobe. They’ve taken a whole new personality – think colour-blocked stripes, pin stripes, asymmetrical stripes to blue and white nautical stripes!
