Cold shoulders are quite the rage this summer and we’ve been talking about the trend for the longest time! I, personally haven’t been a fan of off-shoulders and cold shoulders but what do you do when the racks at almost every mall are filled with the style, right? You just give in and wear the trend! The cold-shoulder is an off shoot of the off-shoulder trend and it is more conservative and shows off just a part of your arms.
I really don’t understand the hype about this trend, but if trend forecasters around the world are to be believed, the trend is not going away anywhere, anytime soon. So, here we are trying it in two different ways.
I wore mine as a drop waist dress that’s Custom Made by ESS, with marsala pumps from Forever 21, a clutch from New Look and earrings from Voylla.
Prerna wore hers as a top with bells sleeves, fusing two trends in one separate. The top is from GK 1 M-block market, the jeans are from HM, bag is from Harrods, heels from Streetstylestore and sunglasses from Zara.
Prerna and I have really different style sensibilities and a lot of times while blogging, one has to wear multiple hats and we end up dressing in trends that we don’t necessarily always love or are comfortable.
So this time, instead of taking the whole ‘experimental’ route, we thought it was time to dress down and show our true fashion sides.
