If you’ve known me long enough, you know this is my favourite colour in the whole wide world. I have been obsessed with it right from my childhood.
Be it sorting crayons or colouring something, purple has been my first love. The keyboard I am typing from, a recent website I had to design, my sister’s wedding card to even the WiFi passwords at home… You’ll see this Colour in plenty and I am more than glad it’s back in vogue.
I have nothing against millennial pink but I’m really not a ‘pink colour is my fav’ kinda girl. I love Purple, especially a deep berry-brinjal coloured one because of how royal and rich it looks. It’s got the femininity of Pink with the masculinity of a Navy blue. It’s gender neutral and looks rather stunning on every complexion.
I wrote a whole post about this and that’s when it struck me that there’s no better way to go about this than to do a shoot. So here it is, Prerna and I sporting some luxe plum purple shades with a mix of floral and psychedelic prints, colours and patterns.
