Recipe: Schezwan Noodles

image1 (1)I have always loved Chinese food! The amalgamation of flavours, just the right amount of chilli and the perfect use of garlic. One of the staple Chinese dishes are noodles, which comes in different forms – hakka noodles, pan-fried noodles, chilli garlic noodles and schezwan noodles. And because my favourite is this one here is a quick recipe for you guys.

8 cloves of garlic chopped finely
I tbsp olive oil (or any oil you want to use)
1 onion sliced
1 carrot sliced into thin strips
1/2 small cabbage sliced into thin strips
You can add any vegetable you like
1 tbsp soya sauce
1 tbsp vinegar
1-2 tbsp green chilli sauce
1 tbsp chilli garlic dip by Cremica
3 tbsp Chings schezwan masala or schezwan sauce
1 pack noodles

Boil noodles in  salt water with few drops of oil
Once they are 80% boiled, drain the water and wash the boiled noodles with cold water
Now, rub oil all over the boiled noodles and keep aside
In a pan, add oil, once hot, add garlic and cook till it turns brown
Now add onions, cook till pink
Add carrots, cabbage and all vegetables
Let it cook, add soya sauce, vinegar, chilli sauce, Cremica dip, schezwan sauce or masala and salt
Mix well and add noodles
Stir properly till noodles are coated with the masala
Transfer it to a bowl and serve hot
