AIFW Autum Winter 2017 has definitely been one that makes me want to retire into the ‘resort life’ ASAP. And the minute your think of resort wear, at least in India, the first names that come to me are Shivan And Narresh. The designers have been really the first beach wear brand, a niche market many have now covered. But when there were no ‘designer’ bikinis to wear to the beach, SnN filled that gap, in fact, quite ruled the space.Be it their entry into semi-bridal wear- think neoprene lehengas with 3d applique or lehengas with pockets and those that don’t let sand stick on your clothes. Clearly, their beachy bride, or the girl who likes her martini by the beach was happy.
But zoom over to 2017, and their design language has evolved so much.
Talking about beachwear trends, with summer already here. There’s no better time to wear that bikini you’ve been hiding in your closet. For everyone, who’s like me- broad and not skinny, monokinis are IN! So if you were actually eyeing at that swimsuit, now is the time to buy it and wear it!
